Health food cooking classes are offered and guests are also invited to study healing herbs and plants under the guidance of a plant specialist in the retreat’s private organic garden.

Treatment Programme

Designed to help guests ‘fortify your inner self’, the wellness programme at Jirung revolves around energetic purification. Created with the aim of cleansing mental toxins and negative emotions from the sub-conscious level, the retreat’s unique ‘Mind Oasis Programme’ is a mind-body detoxification method that cleanses impurities from the mind first and body second. It does this by taking guests on a journey of the ‘4 R’s’: ‘Relax’ (relaxing treatments); ‘Release’ (body and mind detoxification techniques), ‘Revitalize’ (exercise, healthy food, clean air); and ‘Reprogram’ (mind programming techniques).

Tai Chi, Thai yoga, Vipassana meditation and ‘Prana training’ are also on the wellness menu, along with a range of therapeutic spa treatments. The ‘Four Elements Programme’ is another interesting package, which aims to heal the natural elements (earth, fire, water and wind) that constitute optimal internal health. It does this by pinpointing organ deficiencies and correcting energetic imbalances. Jirung customises individual health treatment programmes based on each individual’s specific needs and balances physical, mental and emotional development.
