We caught up with Solène Verrot, who, after transitioning from a career in advertising in France to a new life in Hong Kong, co-founded EstheClinic with her partner in 2019.
Can you tell us about your transition from a legal career to the beauty industry? What inspired this change?
I come from a different background, having studied law and worked in advertising before joining EstheClinic’s family business adventure in 2019. My passion for beauty products has always been strong—I used to spend hours in French “parapharmacies” carefully selecting the best products, with my tracking app in hand.
However, I’ve found that machine-based beauty treatments are the most effective and natural solution for achieving our beauty goals. These treatments enhance the skin and body from within, offering longer-lasting results than creams or lotions, while remaining non-invasive and requiring no downtime.
This represents a new generation of beauty that I’m excited to be a part of. I’ve always been interested in the most natural ways to care for my skin and body, and I believe that with groundbreaking technologies, we’ve found the optimal approach. There’s no need to scrutinise product ingredients or resort to invasive procedures or extreme diets.

Bringing a family business to Hong Kong sounds like a significant decision. What were some of the challenges you faced, and how did you overcome them?
Joining the EstheClinic family business was a natural step for us. Our patented technologies were developed by my partner’s uncle, a physician, over 20 years ago. With numerous locations across France and four branches in Singapore run by my partner’s cousin, expanding into Hong Kong seemed like the perfect next move.
EstheClinic offers a broad range of aesthetic treatments. Among our most popular services are our face treatments, which are in high demand. Clients who come for other treatments, such as permanent hair removal or body slimming, often add face treatments to their regimen.
