I recently stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island, and my experience exceeded all expectations. From start to finish, the hotel went above and beyond to create a memorable stay.
This property caters to every type of traveller. While it’s located in Abu Dhabi’s financial centre, it still offers a serene escape for rest and relaxation. Whether you’re looking for a luxurious getaway, a family-friendly retreat, or a convenient base in the heart of the city, the Four Seasons delivers on all fronts.

Location
The hotel enjoys a premier location—arguably the best in Abu Dhabi. It’s directly connected to The Galleria, a high-end shopping mall, and is just a two-minute walk from restaurants like Zuma and Sushi 99, as well as the hotel’s own Cafe Milano, an excellent Italian spot.
Additionally, it’s just a 10-minute drive to the Louvre Abu Dhabi and 20 minutes to the Grand Mosque, making it easy to explore the city’s top attractions.
Rooms
As expected from the Four Seasons brand, the rooms are luxurious, spacious, and beautifully designed. Decorated in soothing tones of white and gray, they exude contemporary elegance. Each room features a spacious walk-in shower, a deep soaking bathtub, and high-end amenities. The highlight is, without a doubt, the incredibly comfortable bed.
Of all the luxury hotel brands I’ve stayed at, Four Seasons’ beds remain my absolute favourite, thanks to their plush mattresses and silky-soft sheets.
Wellness & Spa
The Four Seasons Abu Dhabi takes wellness seriously, offering world-class facilities, including a state-of-the-art gym equipped with TechnoGym machines, both wet and dry saunas, a vitality pool, and a stunning spa.
The Pearl Spa is a must-visit and one of the standout features of the hotel. I had the Holistic 60-minute facial, and it was one of the best I’ve ever experienced. The therapist used over 12 skincare products, leaving my skin plump and glowing. Between applications, she massaged my head, face, and arms, making the treatment deeply relaxing.

The pool is another highlight—a peaceful oasis with soothing music and panoramic views of the marina. It’s the kind of place where you could spend the entire day without wanting to leave. I started my mornings exploring Abu Dhabi’s attractions and spent my afternoons unwinding by the pool, soaking in the views.
Dining
One of the best parts of staying at a luxury hotel? A seriously good breakfast—and this place absolutely delivered. Guests can go for a generous buffet and pick from a menu of healthy, à la carte mains, plus fresh juices and shakes. The buffet, set in a bright and inviting space, has something for everyone, from wholesome options to all-out indulgent treats.
A standout feature? A roaming yogurt cart that arrives tableside, allowing you to customise your bowl with seasonal fruit, granola, and nuts. And the coffee? Absolutely excellent.
For lunch by the pool, there are plenty of fresh options, including poke bowls, salads, and refreshing non-alcoholic drinks—perfect for a light, healthy meal.
For dinner, Cafe Milano is a must. The service was excellent, and my husband and I ordered the gnocchi, tortellini, and eggplant parmesan—all delicious. The restaurant offers an elegant, open-air dining experience with views of the marina—be sure to request a table by the open windows for the best seat in the house.

Service
Unsurprisingly, Four Seasons service is world-class, but this property truly goes the extra mile.
For example, when visiting the Grand Mosque, women are required to wear a traditional gown and cover their head. The concierge provided me with one, so I didn’t have to worry about finding one myself—an example of their incredible attention to detail.
Perfect for Families
True to the Four Seasons reputation, this hotel is exceptional for families and children. In my opinion, Four Seasons is the best hotel brand for family-friendly luxury stays.
When I arrived with my toddler, the room had already been thoughtfully prepared with a baby bathtub, specialty baby soaps, and an adorable mini robe. At breakfast, the staff provided toddler-friendly cutlery, making mealtime effortless. The kids’ club, open daily from 10:00am to 7:00pm, was a haven of toys and activities—so much so that my toddler didn’t want to leave!
