The return of Hong Kong’s biggest outdoor wellness festival, IRIS, means you can join in with mass meditation in the heart of the city, and with Earth Day just around the corner, we’re looking forward to the events focusing on sustainability and zero-waste. April 5-7: Rugby Sevens

Hong Kong’s sporting event of the year needs little introduction. Teams from across six continents will gather to play for the Rugby Sevens Cup, and defending champions Fiji will be back fighting for the title for the fifth year running. Find out where to watch the games here.

April 7: Ashtanga 101 Beginner’s Workshop with Pure Yoga

Ashtanga yoga is a more modern practice than other yoga styles, which focuses on perfecting a set sequence of positions before moving on to the next set. Pure Yoga will be hosting a workshop led by KPJAYI Certified Ashtanga Yoga Instructor Clayton Horton covering the fundamentals of Ashtanga Yoga and techniques for posture refinement to correct breathing and alignment. April 10: How to Simplify Your Life by Reducing Your Waste

With zero-waste on everyone’s minds, French entrepreneur Fanny Moritz will be speaking about waste reduction and how it leads to improvements in personal health and wellness. Asia’s first festival dedicated to sustainable living is back with over 70 eco-friendly brands and entrepreneurs coming together to redefine what it means to live consciously. April 13: Restore, recharge and rebalance at Gecko Yoga Academy

If running and exploring the Hong Kong’s different islands sounds enticing, Run2Gather’s 3 Island Trail Race covering Lantau, Lamma and Hong Kong Island has you set. This quirky event is both a month-long ‘virtual’ race for participants to complete the three legs of the journey at their own pace between April 1-30, as well as the actual ‘Race Day’ where all three legs can be run together. The festival’s lineup includes some of Hong Kong’s biggest fitness instructors as well as a marketplace of healthy goods you’ll definitely want to check out. There’ll also be plenty of yoga, Pilates, HIIT, acrobatics, cardio, and self-defense workshops, so if you’ve been slacking during the month you can probably pack four weeks of workouts into a weekend.
