Silver Muse, Silversea Cruises’ ultra-luxury flagship and the newest ship in Silverseas nine-ship fleet, made her maiden voyage to Hong Kong this November. Her inaugural visit to Asia began in Singapore, with stops in Vietnam and Hong Kong. Fivelements announced their first urban retreat will open in Causeway Bay Hong Kong in 2019. Plant-based protein-alternative Omnipork retail packs are finally available to buy from Green Common in Hong Kong. As the most consumed meat in Asia and the world, the food-tech solution is a blend of pea, soy, shiitake mushroom and rice proteins, and it’s been used by celebrity chefs around the city to make meat-free alternatives to some of Hong Kong’s best-known dishes.
Pret a Manger’s Christmas menu is back for the festive season and will be donating $1 from each item sold from Pret’s Christmas menu to support Feeding Hong Kong, the first Hong Kong food bank dedicated to rescuing surplus food and redistributing it to people in need.
