They’re already top of every luxury traveller’s to-do list, but for Aman, it wasn’t enough to just be connoisseurs of luxury travel. Adding wellness to the agenda in 2016, Aman has transformed many of boutique destination hotels into health havens for the fitness-conscious explorer.
However, in addition to their regular immersions programmes, Aman is now launching three exciting one-off wellness experiences. Think private jets, mountain-top reflections, and Bali beach yoga retreats, all led by world-renowned experts. We know, it sounds too good to be true—but you better believe it, because all the details are below.
Private Jet Wellness: China, Bhutan, India, and Sri Lanka
Let yourself be whisked away in private jets to seven stunning Aman locations in China (Amanyangyun Shanghai and Amandayan Lijiang), Bhutan (Amankora), India (Amanbagh Rajahastan, and Aman-i-Khas Ranthambhore), and Sri Lanka (Amangalla and Amanwella). The 16-day journey will give guests the opportunity to explore the cultural highlights of each unique location, while enjoying the full comfort and luxury of the Aman experience.
An adventure for body, mind and spirit, this journey of cultural immersion includes tiger safaris and national park visits, as well as one-off activities like an intimate cocktail party with the former UN Ambassador of Bhutan, Lhatu Wangchuk, and wellness activities in and out of the spa, including a fire meditation ceremony. Travelling with a small group of like-minded individuals, its sure to be an unforgettable trip.

Reflections From Within: Bhutan
Bhutan has been called the happiest place on earth, so if you’re looking for somewhere to really reset your mind and spirit, this is a pretty solid bet. The Amankora is nestled among forest-green valleys and the Himalayan foothills, creating an idyllic retreat that really takes you away from it all.
The eight-day retreat encourages deep reflection and aims to remove harmful and toxic habits through a variety of traditional techniques and practices: Tibetan sound healing, Hellerwork, craniosacral therapy, therapeutic massage, outdoor meditation and yoga. The retreat team includes Chinese medicine specialist Zoe Nash, hypnotherapist Tim Stoneman, founder of The Brito Way Patti Brito, and acupuncture and moxibustion specialist Dr Minae Hata.

Healing and Movement: Indonesia
Aman’s Bali and Java properties—Amanusa, Amandari, Amanjiwo, Amankila—are hosting five-day yoga retreats led by wellness experts Vijay Laxmi Goyal and Agustin Sulistyawati. Aiming to de-stress and alleviate tension, each resort will follow the same wellness programme, adapted to the unique location and culture of each destination. In addition to the daily yoga programme—including sunrise yoga and one-to-one sessions—healing arts, signature spa treatments and breath work, guests will have a private consultation with Vijay to identify their areas of need.
