Food Programme

The retreat has three on-site restaurants, serving Thai food, Italian favourites and a seafood-centric menu respectively. Although none of the restaurants have a specific ‘healthy diet’ menu, all ingredients are fresh and organic where possible. Seafood is sourced locally and there are plenty of hearty salads and wholesome soups to keep health-conscious travellers happy.

Treatment Programme

Expressed through its dedicated wellness concept, ‘Asaya’ (Sanskrit for ‘self-acceptance’), the results-oriented wellness programmes at Rosewood Phuket are designed to promote internal balance and wellbeing. The range of wellness retreats falls into six categories: ‘Mindful Eating’, ‘Ideal Balance’, ‘Healthy Sleep’, ‘Inner Peace’, ‘Meditation & Yoga Immersion’, and ‘Life Energised’.

Spanning one, three, five, seven or 14 days, each programme is carefully curated to support holistic health and personal transformation. Along with yoga, meditation, Pilates, body stretching and HIIT training, the retreat also offers a range of healing rituals and alternative therapies out of its spa including watsu therapy, Reiki, Chi Ne Tsang, life force healing therapy and Sound Healing.

If you want to trim some fat off your frame quickly, sign up for the ‘Tabata’ interval training in the resort’s gym. Guaranteed to push you to your physical limit, these sweat-inducing sessions will leave you feeling equally exhausted and invigorated.

Expect to feel like you’ve been immersed in decadent luxury on your own private island. It’s the ideal retreat for those who are looking for more of a holiday with a healthy side rather than a hardcore boot camp, or for wellness travellers who are travelling with those less interested in wellness activities and diets, as the resort caters to all types of holidaymakers and integrates wellness subtly into their ethos and programmes.
