Four Seasons Hong Kong are taking wellness beyond the spa. The new ‘Well Feeling’ campaign, launched officially on September 7th 2018, combines elements of the spa, kitchen, gym and hotel management to provide guests with a 360 degrees wellness experience, from the mattress they sleep on to the nutritional balance of the food on the menus, a collaboration between the Four Seasons’ Michelin-starred chef Andrea Accordi and Life Clinic nutritionist Miles Price. A specially designed functional fitness programme from Joint Dynamics will be added to the fitness offerings in the gym, while collaborations with local fitness studios will make it easier than ever for travellers to continue their healthy lifestyle away from home.

Mileslife, the independent air miles collection app, launched in Hong Kong on August 15th 2018. Founded in by avid miles collector and tech entrepreneur Troy Liu (who travelled to over a hundred countries on miles alone before launching his app in 2015), the app has partnered with 14 major airlines and a whole host of lifestyle brands including luxury hotels and resorts like Ritz-Carlton, Aman and Belmond, and restaurants, shops and merchants around Hong Kong to provide you with a multi-faceted way to collect air miles. The app is free, with various loyalty tiers: download here to see the full list of participating brands.

PURE Yoga’s new Star Street Precinct will finally open this month. The launch on September 14 will showcase the new 20,000 square-foot space, which hosts four studios and 120 classes a month. Plus, it’s the first location with a rooftop for outdoor and yoga community events. Sunset yoga, here we come.

H-Kore is opening a second studio in at Dorsett House in Taikoo Place, Quarry Bay, this October.  The classic Megaformer classes will run, in addition to two new classes—CircuitKore and YogaKora—all of which will combine H-Kore’s key elements: strengthening, stretching and sweating.

Bringing something slightly different to Lan Kwai Fong, new meditation studio Enhale will open from October 1st, 2018. Featuring an impressive selection of meditation classes and workshops throughout the day—including 30-minute lunchtime detox sessions and specialist classes like sound baths—the studio was founded by Mira Christanto, who began meditating over a decade ago to reduce stress in her work with a hedge-fund company. “Meditation can enhance people’s capacity for dealing with life’s obstacles. Oftentimes, even the gift of switching off for half an hour is enough to elevate mood and restore calm. It can also be incredibly energising,” says Christanto. We’re looking forward to seeing more from this addition to Hong Kong’s wellness landscape.
