11 Wellness Events In Hong Kong You Can’t Miss This February

We’re lucky in Hong Kong that if we miss or mess up the January 1st ‘New-Year-New-Me‘ resolutions, we get a do-over about a month later when Chinese New Year rolls around. February has no shortage of events to keep you on track with your wellness goals, whether it’s meditating more or working up a sweat every day. These are the wellness events in Hong Kong we’ve got in our calendar this month—see if you can squeeze a few into your schedule.

Feb 7: Social Hike/Trail Run with Coree Woltering & OutInHK

This Chinese New Year social hike and trail run—depending on your preference and pace—will start in Park View at Mount Butler, and end in FinePrint in Tai Hang for a coffee and chit-chat after. Out In HK have invited along special guest Coree Woltering, a professional North Face-sponsored trail runner from the USA who is visiting Hong Kong to compete in the Nine Dragons Ultra event, and will share his experience as an openly gay athlete. Feb 10: 2019 Healthy Hike & Run Training Day by FitMom Lena

Want to get whipped into shape by a Spartan champ? FitMom Lena Tsang is an official Spartan trainer who just won her category in the US World Spartan Championship at Lake Tahoe, and on February 10th she’s ready to help you get ready for the upcoming Spartan Race in April 2019 with a complimentary training workshop, starting with a 7KM run. The Sai Kung 50 Trail Run is not for the faint-hearted. The UTMB qualifying race organised by Action Asia will begin and end at Pak Tam Chung Picnic Garden in Sai Kung, and those wanting to experience the trail without doing the full ultramarathon can opt for the 22KM or 12KM race instead.
