The weather is cooling down, which means… its race season. There’s plenty of running groups taking to the track and over the next couple of months, running races abound. It’s not all about sport, though: from goal-setting sessions to LGBTQ+ health forums to pre-loved fashion sales, there’s something for everyone this November. Nov 3: Women’s Five Running Training Begins

Women’s Five is back, and for those who have never run or aren’t sure how to train for a race, this five-week training programme to prepare you for the five-kilometre race at the end of the month is the perfect couch-to-5K regimen. Nov 4-23: 200HR Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher Training

If you’re looking to take your yoga practice to the next level, join experienced teachers Chau Kei Ngai and Yogesh Varun for a 200-hour yoga teacher training. Back for the fifth edition, this gathering of women in wellness is a great opportunity to explore alternative holistic practices and celebrate womanhood. If you prefer running without the mud and military-style obstacle courses, then RUN’s annual charity race in Tai Tam might be more your style—make no mistake though, this course isn’t an easy one. This fundraiser works with refugees to organise and participate in the race, as well as helping support RUN’s mission to provide sporting and education programmes to refugee groups in Hong Kong. Nov 13: Pink Season 2019 Health Forum

LGBTQ+ groups are often left out of health and wellness conversations, but Pink Season welcomes a dedicated forum of expert panellists to discuss the health topics most important to the LGBTQ+ community. Originally planned for October 5th, and rescheduled for November 13th, the forum will cover health and medical topics like LGBTQ+ mental health, transgender health and transitioning, gynaecological health, dating someone HIV+, and more.
