Why The Ritz Carlton Dubai Boasts One Of The Best Spas in Dubai

The RitzCarlton, Dubai is a sprawling resort nestled on a private, secluded beach at the end of Dubai’s iconic Jumeirah Beach Residence. True to the Ritz-Carlton brand, this resort embodies class, top-tier service, and family-friendly hospitality. Below, check out some highlights from my wellness-focused stay at the Ritz-Carlton Dubai.

Location & Setting

The resort is about a 30-minute drive from the main airport. It’s nestled in a secluded oasis at the end of Jumeirah Beach. So, guests at the Ritz have access to a gorgeous, expansive private beach. This is perfect for both self-pampering relaxation and water sports for the family.

Accommodation

The rooms are elegantly designed and decorated with beige and chocolate-coloured hues. Through the iPad conveniently situated in the drawer of your bedrest, you can control the room’s lighting, temperature and curtains. Moreover, the marble bathrooms include a large rain shower and bathtub to revel in. Toiletries are courtesy of Diptyque and include my favourite scent, Philosykos.

Each of the rooms is equipped with a balcony or terrace where you can enjoy unobstructed views of the expansive Arabian Gulf. Upon entering my room, I received an impressive bowl of fresh fruit and delicious, local Arabain baklava. Obviously, this was a very nice touch.

What particularly stands out is the superb level of service. It was some of the best that I’ve experienced in Dubai. So, everyone from the reception to the doorman remembered our names.

Facilities

The resort boasts ample relaxation spots scattered throughout the property. This includes an adults-only pool, two family pools, and two pools for children.

Pamper yourself in luxury at the Ritz-Carlton Dubai Spa. The spa features 12 treatment rooms (three private rooms each have their own terrace), tranquility lounges, eucalyptus-infused steam rooms, an outdoor relaxation pool, hot and cold plunge pools, and a Technogym-equipped fitness center.

The spa also offers a variety of treatments like massages, stones, facials, and scrubs. Each of these blend Eastern traditions and European techniques. But the spa’s stand-out treatment is the Rose Awakening Ritual, which incorporating rose geranium-infused products and a rose quartz crystal’s soothing and healing properties.

Nutrition

There are eight restaurants on the property serving up a rich variety of cuisine. It ranges from Asian fusion at Blue Jade, to authentic Middle Eastern at Amaseena, and beyond.

To have the perfect morning, start your day off by taking a walk on the private beach. Then head to breakfast at Caravan (and make sure to choose a seat on the terrace).

Breakfast is served buffet style at Caravan, providing an array of fresh Middle Eastern and Mediterranean dishes. Sitting outdoors at Caravan for breakfast and indulging in delicious, nourishing foods (in particular fresh fruits and muesli) was the highlight of my stay.

And finally, the terrace’s backdrop of manicured gardens was my favourite spot at the resort.
