What Wellness Looks Like On The Four Seasons’ First-Ever Yacht

Four Seasons has unveiled its first-ever yacht, Four Seasons I, marking a confident and much-anticipated step into a space increasingly embraced by luxury hospitality brands expanding beyond land. The 679-feet residential-inspired vessel—which has a one-to-one staff-to-guest ratio—made its maiden voyage in the Mediterranean in March.

As the boundaries between hospitality, private aviation, and maritime travel continue to blur, the sea has become the latest frontier for brands that built their reputations on suites, service, and experience. Here’s what to know about Four Seasons I and its immersive wellness offerings.

The Suites

The yacht carries 95 suites in total, all of them designed with floor-to-ceiling windows and private terraces. Entry-level Seaview Suites measure approximately 473 sq ft (44 sqm), with terraces ranging from 64 to 140 sq ft. These include king beds, walk-in closets, and bathrooms designed to feel more like residential en-suites than shipboard bathrooms. Superior Seaview Suites expand to 710 sq ft (66 sqm), adding dedicated dining tables for two, alcove seating areas, and flexible bedding configurations. Ocean Suites go further again, offering separate living areas and larger terraces extending up to 247 sq ft, along with layouts designed for up to three guests or small families. For multi-generational travel, Seaview Suites with Studio and Ocean Suites with Studio introduce adjoining spaces, allowing expanded occupancy without compromising privacy.

The Funnel Suite and Loft Suite—highlighted as the most expansive onboard—extend into multi-thousand-square-foot residences. These include large wraparound terraces, multiple living zones, and uninterrupted panoramic glazing designed to eliminate visual barriers between interior and horizon. The Loft Suite also comes with a private splash pool and sauna and steam room, while the Funnel Suite has an indoor and outdoor gym, three powder rooms, a steam room and a private kitchen. Across all categories, the design language is consistent: neutral tones, custom furnishings and spa-like bathrooms.

The Facilities

The defining feature is the yacht’s transverse marina, which opens across both sides of the vessel. During dedicated Marina Days, this space becomes a fully activated waterfront terrace. The Marina Terrace extends outward into an overwater lounge with direct access into the sea, while the Ocean Plunge—a netted seawater pool—offers a calmer, protected space for swimming. From here, guests can move easily between rest and activity. A full selection of watersports equipment is available, including paddleboards, kayaks, sailing dinghies, sea scooters, waterbikes, electric surfboards, and eFoils.

Beyond the marina, the main pool deck—Piscine—acts as a central gathering space, but shifts in tone throughout the day. Mornings are quieter, suited to swimming and relaxation, while afternoons become more social with poolside dining and lounging. In the evening, the space can transform entirely, with the pool floor lifting hydraulically to create a flat surface for events and performances.

Dining

Four Seasons I features 11 restaurants and lounges, each with a distinct culinary role. Sedna is the flagship fine dining restaurant, built around a Chef-in-Residence programme that brings Michelin-level chefs from Four Seasons properties globally. Names include chefs from Paris, Athens, Hong Kong, Cap-Ferrat, and Florence, with menus changing depending on who is onboard.

Miuna offers a dedicated omakase experience, focusing on precision, seasonal sourcing, and an intimate counter-style format. Terrasse provides Mediterranean-focused all-day dining, built around coastal ingredients that reflect the yacht’s itineraries. The Salon serves patisserie, café offerings, and lighter daytime fare, while Marina Bar and Horizon Lounge operate as flexible social spaces for daytime drinks through to evening cocktails. There is also Bar Piscine for poolside refreshments and a Champagne & Caviar terrace.

Wellness: L’Oceana Spa

Wellness is anchored by L’Oceana Spa, but extends across the entire yacht. The spa is structured around the “five elements of vitality” and includes a combination of thermal, hydro, and recovery-focused facilities. These include hammam suites, sauna and steam rooms, cold plunge therapies, and dedicated relaxation areas. Spa treatments include personalised facials from brands including Margy’s Monte Carlo and La Mer, body treatments from deep tissue renewal to circadian sleep therapies, multi-day spa journeys with “The Renewal Programme” as well as the L’Oceana Salon, which offers bespoke hair and nail therapies from Rossano Ferretti and L’Atelier Green Paris.

Advanced treatments extend into cryotherapy, infrared therapy beds, hydrotherapy, and recovery protocols typically associated with performance or longevity medicine. The intention is not purely relaxation, but physical restoration over the course of extended travel.

Outside the spa, wellness programming is integrated into daily life onboard. This includes sunrise yoga sessions on open decks, guided meditation and breathwork, personalised fitness training, and private coaching sessions. The fitness centre features state-of-the-art Technogym equipment, complete with AI-driven body scan technology.

Nutrition is also incorporated into the wellness framework, with menus designed to accommodate dietary goals, recovery needs, and longer-term wellbeing rather than short-term dietary trends. A dedicated reflection lounge provides a quiet space for downtime, reinforcing the yacht’s broader emphasis on mental and physical decompression.

Voyages

Four Seasons I is designed for global deployment, but its inaugural programming focuses heavily on the Mediterranean. Initial itineraries include the Greek Isles, Croatian coastline, Montenegro, Saint-Tropez, Bodrum, Hydra, and lesser-visited harbours alongside more established luxury ports.

Voyages are structured around 7 to 12-night itineraries, with seasonal deployment expanding into the Caribbean, Bahamas, and Grand Atlantic routes in winter months. Rather than standard shore excursions, each voyage is supported by a dedicated Experiences team that curates private access, cultural encounters, and bespoke itineraries tailored to guest interests. This can include private cultural site access, secluded coastal exploration, or bespoke dining arrangements ashore. The yacht is also designed to spend extended periods at sea between ports, allowing onboard life to function independently of destination schedules.

Overview

Four Seasons I is not positioned as a cruise ship, and it does not attempt to align itself with traditional expedition or luxury cruising formats. It operates instead as a mobile extension of the Four Seasons hotel portfolio, with a focus on consistency of service, spatial privacy, and an emphasis on wellness at its core.
