The Bulgari Resort Dubai is an ultra-luxurious, wellness jewel that occupies an entire seahorse-shaped island off the coast of Jumeirah. This iconic Dubai hotel opened in 2017 and, was designed by the renowned Italian architectural firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel (which has designed all Bulgari properties worldwide). So, here’s a look into one of the most exquisite wellness retreats in the world.
Location & Setting
The Bulgari Resort Dubai enjoys a prime location. It’s about a 25-minute drive from the airport, and about 10 to 15 minutes from Dubai’s cultural attractions like the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall. The resort sits near leading hotels like the Mandarin Oriental and the Four Seasons Jumeirah, as well as some of Dubai’s best restaurants like COYA and Il Borro.
The resort attests to unparalleled luxury and this is felt in all elements of the hotel: the design & ambiance, amenities, world-class service and attention to detail.

Accommodation
The rooms are a peaceful sanctuary decorated with contemporary Italian design, a plethora of calming beige and caramel hues, and custom-designed Italian furniture. The exquisitely comfortable plush bed featuring cashmere Bulgari blankets will ensure that you have the most rejuvenating sleep.
The spacious marble bathrooms feature a large bathtub and rain shower, both of which face the floor-to-ceiling windows, along with the legendary Bulgari toiletries. But the room’s standout feature is the large, private balcony boasting unobstructed views of the Dubai skyline or the Arabian Gulf. Especially in the cooler evenings, the private balcony becomes an oasis of calm a beauty.
Facilities
The Bulgari Resort houses two pools: one at the Beach Club, and one on the other side of the resort at the Yacht Club. In both pools, you can lounge in your own private cabana while sipping on fresh coconuts. Regardless, both of these pools are incredibly relaxing—you will not want to leave!
The Bulgari Spa and fitness center is the epitome of luxurious well-being. Here, you can indulge in relaxing amenities including a 25-meter indoor pool with jaw-dropping water views of the Arabian Gulf, a state-of-the-art gym (open 24 hours), a hammam, a steam room, a vitality pool inspired by the ancient Caracalla Roman bath, and spa treatments at the highest level. Moreover, pilates and yoga private lessons are available upon request, and there is also a hair salon and nail salon to pamper yourself.

The Bulgari Spa boasts treatments like massages, stones, hammams, and facials. It uses only the finest products, such as La Mer, Maroc Maroc, and Amala. This is by far one of the most sumptuous spas that I’ve ever visited. Drinking tea after my massage in the spa’s outdoor sitting area facing the glittering Arabian Sea was the highlight of my stay.
Fun fact: non-hotel guests can book a spa day pass at the Bulgari by booking one of the treatments. This enables you exclusive access to all of the spa’s facilities.
Nutrition
The property offers various award-winning restaurants with different cuisines. There’s fine-dining Mediterranean at the Yacht Club, Michelin-starred Japanese at Hoseki, and also Bulgari Hotels’ signature Italian restaurant, Il Ristorante.
Breakfast is served à la carte at either Il Caffé or at the La Spiaggia beach club. To get the full Bulgari Dubai experience, I recommend one morning trying Il Caffé and the next at La Spiaggia. At La Spiaggia, I thoroughly enjoyed the watermelon and mango juices, as well as the bowl of berries. Moreover, the berries were the freshest produce that I’ve had in Dubai.

The perfect lunch spot is also at La Spiaggia. Here you can snack on pasta, pizza, and sandwiches while serenading in stunning beachfront views.
