Asaya Launches The A-Team: 4 Weeks Of Transformative Classes In November

Hong Kong’s holistic hub Asaya has raised the bar on integrative wellness in the city since its opening late last year. The immersive urban oasis offers an escape that begins from the moment you walk in, and with its recent launches of Asaya Wellcations and the sleep enhancing Dreamcations, the space has become the destination for pampered healing. This November, Asaya has assembled The ‘A-Team’ – a line-up of Hong Kong’s leading fitness and wellbeing practitioners – for a four-week series of transformative classes to reboot and reset. Here’s everything you need to know and how to join…

What is The A-Team at Asaya?

The A-Team at Asaya comprises seventeen of the best homegrown instructors in the city to celebrate local talents. Famous faces include Utah Lee, Victor Chau, Janice Ng, Gabriel Carroll of Hybrid HK and Cindy Jourdain of Joint Dynamics, all of whom will be carrying out classes at Asaya throughout the month of November. Asaya will also be hosting three leading ballerinas from Hong Kong Ballet for intermediate to expert ballerina training for those looking to advance their technique with the professionals themselves.

Classes will include yoga, expressive dance, HIIT, core conditioning, calisthenics, ballet barre and much more.

How does it work?

There will be over 35 classes per week throughout the month. Each week will have its own new music theme that will make you feel all nostalgic with tunes from the 2000s down to the funky 70s.

“We are excited to be pushing the boat further by curating a list of Hong Kong’s best fitness and wellness instructors – the real ‘A-Team’ of the city.” Corinna Yap, Wellness Director of Asaya

Guests can expect to learn from the experts like Cindy Jourdain of Joint Dynamics, previously the Principal Dancer at the Royal Ballet in London, who will bring her deep knowledge of anatomy and movement to her classes, while Janice Ng of Absolute Focus at Topfit will put your focus on ab strength and conditioning. Hybrid’s Gabriel Carroll will lead personalised workouts that focus on overall health.

The event will include a special final fitness class followed by mindfully-created cocktails and mocktails, a DJ at the swimming pool and Asaya Glasshouse and healthy snacks from Asaya Kitchen followed by gift bags. Tickets for the A-Team Closing Party are HK$780 per person or HK$350 for those who purchase the 10-class package.
